Kaitlyn’s Kloset Back to School Carnival and Resource Fair
It’s time! Call everyone you know! Kaitlyn’s Kloset is hosting our Annual Carnival and Resource Fair!
Save the date, August 2nd from 10am – 1pm at the Kaitlyn’s Kloset resource center located at 4180 Lexington Ave. S, Eagan, MN 55123. We are located on the corner of Lexington and Diffley on the property of Saints Martha and Mary Episcopal Church. The carnival will be outside. You DO NOT need to be a current shopper at Kaitlyn’s Kloset to attend. Everyone is Welcome!
We will have games, prizes, backpacks full of school supplies, and other local community resources there!

Resources:
We have many partnering organizations at the carnival. Make sure to visit each of their booths. Every single booth will have free items to give out to your families. Their items are first come first served and some are coming with a limited amount of bigger items so make sure that you visit the resource booths before you go to the game booths. You don’t want to miss out on those awesome items!
Backpacks!!!
Backpacks are for children Pre-K to 12th grade.
Brand new backpacks full of school supplies will be given out first come first served beginning at 10:00 a.m. and children MUST BE PRESENT (no exceptions). Please note that people will start lining up prior to 10:00 a.m.
This year, we will be doing a traditional prize-counter style. You will go to a game, pay your ticket, play the game, and if you win, you will receive a winner ticket. Winner tickets can then be collected as you play games. When you’ve collected winner tickets and want to “cash in” to redeem your prize, you will head to the prize counter and choose what you’d like. Like traditional prize counters, there will be categories of prizes. X prizes cost 10 winner tickets, Y prizes cost 100 winner tickets, Z prizes cost 250 winner tickets, etc. What’s different about our carnival prizes? We have hundreds of BRAND NEW prizes, ranging from small party favor style prizes to Barbies, Lego sets, and Squishmallows and more!!!
***Please make sure to have your tickets counted and stacked prior to coming to the prize table. This alleviates everyone else having to wait for you to pull your tickets out of your pockets, purse, bags, stroller, etc. Prizes are available on a first come – first served basis. We have hundreds and hundreds of prizes to win, but we cannot guarantee they will last all day. So, please don’t wait until the very end to redeem your tickets***

We want everyone to be able to come and enjoy a fun day with carnival games, prizes, and an awesome resource fair! This means, don’t stress about the money! Every child will receive a stack of game tickets when they enter the carnival, no cost involved! We will also be collecting non-perishable food items to stock the shelves at our resource center. If you bring any non-perishable food items, you will receive additional game tickets.

Please have patience. Remember that every person you see working the carnival is a volunteer.

Recursos:
Contamos con varias organizaciones asociadas en el carnaval. Asegúrate de visitar sus puestos. Cada puesto tendrá cosas gratis para las familias asistentes. Todo será repartido por orden de llegada y algunos puestos ofrecerán una cantidad limitada de regalos más grandes así que no te lo puedes perder. Asegúrate de visitar los puestos de recursos antes de ir a los juegos.
Mochilas:
Las mochilas son para niños desde Preescolar a Grado 12.
Mochilas nuevas llenas de útiles escolares serán repartidas en orden de llegada desde las 10AM y sus niños deben estar presentes para poder recibir una mochila (sin excepción). Por favor tenga en cuenta que habrá gente haciendo fila antes de las 10am.
Premios:
¿Cómo serán distribuidos los premios del carnaval?
Este año distribuiremos premios a través de varias mesas de premios. Irán a los juegos, pagarán su boleto para jugar, según vayan jugando en los juegos cuando ganen recibirán boletos ganadores. Los boletos ganadores pueden ser recolectados según jueguen. Cuando hayas recolectado boletos ganadores los mismos pueden ser intercambiados por premios en las distintas mesas de premios. Como cualquier otra mesa de premios, habrá categorías en los premios de distintos valores. Por ejemplo: “X” premio cuesta 10 boletos ganadores, “Y” premio cuesta 100 boletos ganadores, “Z” premio cuesta 250 boletos ganadores, etc.
¿Qué es diferente acerca de nuestros premios en el carnaval?
¡Tenemos cientos de premios NUEVOS! Desde premios de fiesta hasta Barbies, Legos, Squish Mallows y mucho más!!!!!
***Por favor tengan sus boletos listos a la hora de intercambiarlos por premios en los puestos. Esto alivia la espera para las personas detrás de ti si no tienes que sacar los boletos de tu bolsillo, bolsa, carriola, etc. Los premios son dados en orden de llegada, sin intercambios. Contamos con cientos de premios, pero no podemos garantizar que durarán todo el día. Así que no espere hasta el final para redimir sus boletos***

¿Cómo funcionan los boletos para jugar en el carnaval?
¡Queremos que todos tengan la oportunidad de pasarla bien, disfrutar el día, poder jugar, ganar premios y tener una buena experiencia en nuestra feria de recursos! !Eso significa que no se tiene que preocupar por dinero! Todos los niños recibirán un conjunto de boletos para jugar sin ningún costo. También estaremos recolectando alimentos no perecederos para nuestro centro de recursos. Si donas cualquier alimento no perecedero el día del carnaval, recibirás boletos de juego adicionales.
Paciencia:
Por favor tengan paciencia. Acuerdense que todas las personas que van a ver trabajando en el carnaval son voluntarios.
